Let me start by saying, it’s Cheryls STORY!!! This makes me so happy.
Promises of Virtue is the second book in the Earthbound Series. It continues right after Sera’s story – which I absolutely loved – by the way. I’ve mentioned before that I love reading Paranormal Romance! And Randi Perrin has done an amazing job reading a magnificent and believable world with well developed characters.
Cheryl was an Angel of Mercy, while her best friend was an Angel of Death! Cheryl definitely added a lot of spunk to the first book, so when I first finished it and found out that there would be more to the story – I was ecstatic!
Needless to say that we definitely get a good dose of suspense, mystery, love and sacrifice. I love how Randi incorporates every single subject in this book. She does a really good job of sucking you in and entwining you with her characters. That’s what I love the most, is loosing myself and feeling like I’m there, with them. Living and experiencing right along them. Enjoying life, and sorrow at the same time. Feeling happiness and sadness with Cheryl. Screaming at her when she makes the wrong choices. And rooting for her when she makes the right choices and when things work out for her in her life!
It’s been definitely an enjoyable book, and I hope to continue reading more books by this author.
