The Assassin's
Temptation is a tale about a deadly assassin who is part of the Confradia
Assassins - an organization that takes care of those that feel and think they
are above the law. Which in this case, it is men that are filthy rich.
The story starts at
a pretty good pace. Which is where and when we meet Micah "Savage"
St. Clair (our very own assassin). He is in the middle of a mission, where he's
dealing with some pretty gruesome circumstances. And as a human being, he is
perturbed and completely disgusted by what he's witnessing, and more than happy
to "deal" with those that are currently causing havoc.
Unfortunately for
him, he has some internal issues that he has to deal with. Those come by the
name of Sophia - a beautiful girl that he can't seem to get over, but can't
bring into his world. Their circumstances are slightly complicated, and even
more so because they both have feelings for each other.
This is one of
those where even giving a slight piece of detail, would give the story away.
So, with that being said, this is one that you’ll have to experience fully on
your own.
I thoroughly enjoyed
the suspense and action that the author had to offer us with this book. She was
able to create a dark and inviting world that would be able to captivate you as
the reader. I enjoyed Savage and they type of person that he was. Always taking
control and portraying a sense of Alpha protector, who didn’t have a care in
the world for what others thought of him.
I can’t wait to get
my hands on the next book and read more about the other characters that belong
to the Confradia Assassins! This was definitely a 5 Star Book for me!
