The Assassin's Temptatino by Jeanette Rico

The Assassin's Temptation is a tale about a deadly assassin who is part of the Confradia Assassins - an organization that takes care of those that feel and think they are above the law. Which in this case, it is men that are filthy rich.

The story starts at a pretty good pace. Which is where and when we meet Micah "Savage" St. Clair (our very own assassin). He is in the middle of a mission, where he's dealing with some pretty gruesome circumstances. And as a human being, he is perturbed and completely disgusted by what he's witnessing, and more than happy to "deal" with those that are currently causing havoc.

Unfortunately for him, he has some internal issues that he has to deal with. Those come by the name of Sophia - a beautiful girl that he can't seem to get over, but can't bring into his world. Their circumstances are slightly complicated, and even more so because they both have feelings for each other.
This is one of those where even giving a slight piece of detail, would give the story away. So, with that being said, this is one that you’ll have to experience fully on your own.
I thoroughly enjoyed the suspense and action that the author had to offer us with this book. She was able to create a dark and inviting world that would be able to captivate you as the reader. I enjoyed Savage and they type of person that he was. Always taking control and portraying a sense of Alpha protector, who didn’t have a care in the world for what others thought of him.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book and read more about the other characters that belong to the Confradia Assassins! This was definitely a 5 Star Book for me!

The Devil's Pride by T. Birmingham

So I've been trying to decide on how to write this review without giving any spoilers away. And to be honest with you, it's extremely hard.

Let me begin by saying that I absolutely love reading Paranormal. Any type of paranormal, whether it be historical, romance, erotic, or just plain and simple young adult.

This book had a great dose of Paranormal. The author did an amazing job in creating this world, where there are different Clans - one of them being the Skrom. Unfortunately they are considered Dark and Evil, and love to wreak havoc. They're distinguished by their red hair, red eyes and pale skin.

This is where we meet our main character – Alexia Maria Garda-Martinez. She is usually considered a Demon, and people tend to shy away from her; even though she's a genuine good person, because of her Red Eyes, Red Hair and pale skin.  She works hard, goes to college and contributes to society.

We also meet Devon Waters, who happens to have a twin – his polar opposite.
I love the dynamic relationship that these two had to offers us. Let's just say that they didn't start on good terms, but they were able to move past that first impression and produce something more beautiful.

Now, as for the storyline itself? I can't say much without giving anything away. I absolutely LOVED the plot, and the twists and turns that were thrown our way. There was a good amount of suspense, with not knowing what was going to happen. And the ROMANCE – my goodness!!! It was out of this world! Literally! It's exactly what I look for in a good book.

I loved knowing that I could get lost in this book. I loved that I couldn’t put the book down, because I just had to know what was going to happen. So, thank you, for this awesome and thrilling book. I'm excited to get my hands on the next book, and learn what happens to certain characters. Definitely a 5 Star Book for me!

Sweet Water by Laurie Lewis

Sweet Water was such a sweet and lovely read. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and it's characters from the very first pages. Although those seemed slightly painful.

We get to meet Olivia McAllister while she's in the hospital – freshly waking up from what appears to be a tragic and horrible accident. The cause of the accident is unknown. She wakes up to realize that her husband is gone. We also realize that she detests Hudson Bauer of The Bauer Group, which makes him a multi-billionaire.

The journey that we take with these characters is an amazing one. The story could be considered a second chance romance. Olivia and Hudson knew each other when they were in college. Were friends and partners. Unfortunately, they had a misunderstanding and she ended up marrying a different guy.

We learn that there has been quite a good amount of deceiving and lying, which essentially causes great heart aches for Olivia, as well as confusion.

Her journey is one of physically, mentally and emotionally recovery. She learns how to not only heal her body, but how to work through her issues and get past the problems that she had, and that kept her from admitting her true feelings for Hudson.

It's been a long time since I've read a sweet, and cute clean romance. The attraction between the characters is there, but so is the emotional connection. It was a nice change for me, to be able to enjoy this book and the clean storyline. The book kept me engaged, so much so that I couldn't put it down. I felt like I needed to know what was going to happen with both Olivia and Hudson.  This was definitely considered a 5 Star Book for me!
